Perlane restores volume and fullness to skin, correcting moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth (called nasolabial folds). Made from a water-soluble substance called hyaluronic acid, Perlane works by hydrating the skin in the treated area, and since hyaluronic acid is naturally produced by the body, the risk of allergic reaction to Perlane is extremely low. Las Vegas plastic surgeon, Dr. Marvin Spann, offers Perlane wrinkle treatment, which can help patients look younger and more relaxed without surgery.

"Dr. Kim is outstanding! She is well trained and truly cares about her patients. Her support staff is great also."- P.J. / Yelp / Oct 28, 2018
"Cancer, nobody wants to hear about it, even when they tell you it is 100% treatable. I needed to get surgery to remove the affected area, Dr. Grace Kim personally called me to schedule the appointment and to make sure that I understood the procedure. This was more than I expected, much more, she was so kind, really taking her time to make sure that I was comfortable. I arrived for my appointment expecting to spend the entire morning waiting and not getting out for four hours, based on my previous experience with MOH's surgery for skin cancer. Much to my surprise I got this one early, thanks to regular skin inspections, and was done well before lunch. The staff and the Dr.'s at Couture made this and every other visit so pleasant and quick. I have been kept informed about all options and findings. I have been greeted with a smile and treated with kindness and professionalism. Dr. Kim and Dr. Candace Spann were compassionate and concise, not wasting my time or theirs, but answering all my questions and concerns. I really can't thank them all enough for taking care of me."- M.H. / Yelp / Oct 25, 2018
What To Expect
During your appointment, the areas of the injection sites will be marked and thoroughly cleaned prior to the treatment. The Perlane filler will be injected deep into the skin where added volume and fullness is desired. While results can be seen immediately, some side effects may not appear for a day or two after the injections. The most common side effects include pain, redness, swelling, itching, discoloration and tenderness at the injection site.
The price of Perlane fillers varies, depending on the location and size of the treatment area. Patients can expect to pay between $550 and $900 for one treatment session.

Patients with wrinkles, worry lines, smile lines, crow’s feet, cheek depressions and smoker’s lines use Perlane fillers. Patients also use Perlane injections for lip enhancement, chin augmentation, redefining lip borders and softening acne scars. Less common uses for Perlane injections include filling hollows under the eyes, creating a temporary brow lift and softening the appearance of jowls.
Restylane or Perlane?
Made by the same manufacturer, Perlane and Restylane are primarily the same products. However, Perlane contains a higher concentration of hyaluronic acid intended for larger folds and wrinkles. Restylane should be used for smaller wrinkles, or to maintain the results of Perlane treatments. Perlane is also the more expensive filler because of the higher amounts of hyaluronic acid.
Different from BOTOX?
Unlike BOTOX, Perlane does not numb facial muscles. Perlane only reduces the visibility of wrinkles and folds by adding volume and fullness under the skin. Perlane can be used in conjunction with BOTOX to provide maximum results.
How Long Will Results Last?
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the body that depletes with age. The hyaluronic acid in Perlane injections is biodegradable, which means results are not permanent. On average, results last six months to a year with proper maintenance. Patients can use other injectable fillers, such as Restylane, in between Perlane treatments to maintain soft, youthful results.
