Ideal Candidate?

Anyone with unwanted hair is a candidate for laser hair removal. However, individuals with darker hair and lighter skin often experience better results. The number of sessions that will be required to produce the desired results will depend on the thickness of hair, how much hair exists in an area, color of the hair, and what the ultimate goal is. Individuals with lighter colored hair may require more treatments.

What Is The Recovery?

Laser hair removal results in zero downtime. The skin will be pink and a tingling sensation may reside on the treated area for a couple of hours after treatment. Patients can leave their appointment and go directly back to work.

Negative Side Effects?

There may be some skin irritation, slight itching, and some skin discoloration after treatment, but this is usually evident at the injection site and will subside in a few days. This procedure is non-invasive, and complications are very rare.

When Will I See Results?

The results and appearance of the tattoo vary from patient to patient. After each treatment session patients will see the tattoo become lighter. Due to the various types of inks used in tattooing, the results and the number of treatments may vary. Typically, multiple treatments (anywhere from 2 to15) will be required and are scheduled 4 to 7 weeks apart.

Time Between Treatments?

It is best to plan your treatments a couple of months apart. This gives the skin ample time to heal, as well as time or the treated veins to completely disintegrate.
