The patient is a 39 year old female who has had multiple children and was unhappy with the appearance of her abdomen. She complained of excess skin and fat on her belly as well as an abundance of stretch marks. She received a full abdominoplasty with abdominal wall plication at the midline as well as oblique areas in addition to sewing of the tummy skin and tissue down to the abdominal wall in those areas to create a pleasing, contoured, athletic appearance to her abdomen. She is extremely pleased with her results.

Note the removal of the excess skin of the abdomen along with removal of many of the striae. Her overall contour was improved with the addition of stitched used to sew down the midline and lateral oblique areas to add a pleasing appearance to the abdominal wall contour. More

New Tummy for a Happy Mommy

This once unhappy mommy is extremely pleased with the appearance of her tummy following her full tummy tuck with plication of the abdominal wall at the midline and lateral oblique areas as well as sewing of the remaining skin diwn to the abdominal wall on the midline above the belly button and lateral oblique areas to create an athletic contour. She is now happy with her tummy and can't wait to show it off!!!
