The patient underwent a full abdominoplasty with tightening of the tummy wall in the midline as well as the lateral oblique areas, removal of the excess skin and fat, sewing the skin and fat layer to the abdominal wall at the midline above the belly button and the lateral oblique areas to improve contour, and relocation of her belly button.

The redundant skin above and below the belly button was removed, improving the- as the patient called it, "butt like appearance" of the crease seen beneath her belly button from a previous surgery. More

Left Oblique View

The patient's tummy looks much more trim and athletic. The photo shows the desirable depression above the umbilicus at the midline and in the lateral oblique areas. More

Left Side View

Observe the significant improvement in the shape of her abdomen. From rounded to flattened. Many of the stretch marks were removed with the skin excision. More

Right Oblique View

The overall improvement in contour and shape can be seen just the same in the right oblique view. Note the natural appearance of the belly button in the postoperative photo on the right. More

As observed in the photo, tightening of the abdominal wall appears to have improved the patient's posture and overall shape of her entire midsection. More

Full Abdominoplasty

The patient presented complaining of the appearance of her tummy after having undergone previous c-sections later followed by a hysterectomy. She was especially bothered by the "butt-like" appearance of the hanging skin separated by a cleft caused by her previous surgeries. She underwent a full abdominoplasty with tightening of the tummy wall in the midline as well as the lateral oblique areas, removal of the excess skin and fat, sewing the skin and fat layer to the abdominal wall at the midline above the belly button and the lateral oblique areas to improve contour, and relocation of her belly button. The patient is ecstatic with the improvement of her appearance. She also had a breast augmentation during this surgery.
