Joi Sawyer is a board-certified nurse practitioner in Las Vegas. Her mission is to treat all patients the same as she would any family member while providing them with individualized care.
EDUCATION
Joi Sawyer obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Mississippi Valley State University. After graduating, completed a Master of Science in Public Health at Meharry Medical College, where she learned how illness and disease affect different population groups and the healthcare system. She then decided the only way to really be knowledgeable and promote change is to become a medical provider. She then completed a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN in 2008. Sawyer has over 14 years of experience as a nurse practitioner.

Joi Sawyer is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and licensed by The Nevada Board of Nursing. Certification in integrative/functional medicine from The Institute of Functional Medicine is in process.
