Breast implants are made with a smooth or textured surface. Round implants can be chosen with either surface, while teardrop implants are made with a textured surface only.
Implant Placement
- Submammary (Subglandular): Under the mammary gland, over the muscle 
-Subfascial (Retrofacial): Under the fascia of the muscle; 
- Dual Plane: Along two planes/layers;
- Submuscular (Retromuscular): Mostly under the muscle; 
- Complete Submuscular (Full retromuscular): Completely under the muscle.
Incision Type
Inframammary: The incision is made in the breast crease where the breast
meets the torso; 
Periareolar: The incision is made just under and along the areola;
Transaxillary: The incision is made in the armpit; 
Transumbilical: The incision is made in the belly button.

AFTER SURGERY

Mole Removal surgery is an outpatient procedure performed under local anesthesia at an accredited surgical facility. The procedure typically takes about 30 minutes to complete, but this time will vary by case. Most patients will find recovery following mole removal is fairly easy. Smaller moles will typically not cause discomfort while larger moles requiring a sizeable amount of sutures will. The area of skin where the mole was removed will scab over within a couple of weeks. Patients will be given a scar treatment protocol to maximize the results.

FIRST 24 HOURS:

The first 24 hours after surgery are the most difficult part of the recovery process. Knowing what to expect can ensure a stress- free recuperation.

I paid for a mole removal procedure on my upper lip, I had local anesthesia done in office in order to remove it by cosmetic surgeon dr. marvin. And you know what it looks good, it's healing pretty well, I'm not seeing or expecting a scar, it was shaved off clean and for the price it's in my budget. My mom said it's entirely gone and I'm glad I got it removed, I look so much better without it. I definitely would come here again to get any moles or spots removed.

If a mole is truly bothersome, it may be considered for Mole Removal. This particular mole may be dark, bumpy, large or simply annoying. From a health standpoint, any mole that is “changing” should be removed. This includes those with irregular borders, mixed pigmentation, and those that are crusted, bleeding, or growing.
Unfortunately, scarring is a part of Mole Removal surgery. For this reason, patients worried about the scarring should seek out a plastic surgeon. Trained surgeons understand not only how to safely remove the mole, but how to incorporate techniques to minimize scarring for the best result.
Insurance will not cover the cost if the Mole Removal is performed purely for cosmetic reasons. However, if the mole is believed to be cancerous, then insurance may cover a portion of the removal. We suggest having the mole assessed by a dermatologist. If Mole Removal is recommended, this can be addressed with your insurance provider prior to seeking out a plastic surgeon.
